Why Get a Rain Barrel?
Economical: $100.00 – $150.00 is what it would cost you to purchase a similar ready-to-use rain barrel from a retailer.
Sustainable: Utilize a repurposed container, reducing waste.
Water Conservation: Collect nutrient-rich water for watering plants, reducing municipal water usage and costs. Utilizing the rain barrel once a week, for 12 weeks during the summer, can provide up to 2,508 liters (662 gallons) of water annually!
Save Money: Lower your home water bills.
Support a Cause: Proceeds from the sale will support the EPBRPC Nature Navigator Van fundraising campaign, contributing $1,200 towards our $90,000 goal. The Nature Navigator Van is a mobile hub of environmental education, bringing more nature programming to schools and communities. Learn more here: https://www.epbrparkscouncil.org/nature-navigator/
